UPDATE!

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort just updated their website and informed us that guests onboard this new scheduled service do receive a voucher for a “discounted lift ticket”. No word as of yet as to what this discount is….

Our house always shakes when they bomb this part of Rundle, incredible how loud it is, but really cool to watch. the kids always go running out the house to see the avalanches coming down and you become acutely aware of the power they must have when rocketing down the mountain.

Ahhhh - yes, how could I forget the "Rocky Mountain Romance" episode when Jillian Harris, ABC’s The Bachelorette, and the bachelors were told to pack their bags and board the Rocky Mountaineer train back in 2009.
