{"id":11,"date":"2006-03-02T18:10:00","date_gmt":"2006-03-02T15:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rocky-peak.com\/blog\/?p=11"},"modified":"2006-03-02T18:10:00","modified_gmt":"2006-03-02T15:10:00","slug":"good-news-for-skiers-and-boarders-this","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rocky-peak.com\/blog\/2006\/03\/good-news-for-skiers-and-boarders-this.html","title":{"rendered":"Good news for skiers and boarders this spring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A federal forecaster has predicted that Canada will not receive an early spring so the Groundhog maybe wrong this year!<\/p>\n<p>Most Canadians will have to endure a very slow start to spring, according to Environment Canada&#8217;s latest three-month forecast.<\/p>\n<p>Environment Canada says most of the country will experience cooler than normal temperatures during the spring.<\/p>\n<p>This is great news for the ski resorts as most of them open until late April, and some right through to late May.  This would mean the snow stays light right through to the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p>The spring is a great time to ski, here in the Canadian Rockies.
